FreeRange are available to give seminars and workshops at schools, youth groups, and community events. Our management team and casts are often available to give talks and workshops on our work.

Our staff all hold current Enhanced CRB Checks, and are experienced with working with young people. Our CRB checks are managed by Safer Recruitment Ltd.

Chris and members of the company discuss the past few years of FreeRange, from forming in 2010 as a small group of young people, to taking on the mighty Edinburgh Fringe two years later. Performance and Drama Workshops

Chris and his team have experience of running a variety of workshops, including ‘Panto in Twenty Minutes’, ‘Losing Inhibitions in Improvisation’, and ‘Directing For Stage’. These workshops are tailored to any audience and age group, and have been done in the past with children as young as ten.

Lectures and Seminars

Topics that Chris has lectured on in the past include ‘Shakespeare: Why Should I Care?’  specifically aimed at young people studying the work of William Shakespeare, ‘Different Interpretations of Shylock’  focusing on different ways of portraying the character and how best to study him, and ‘Why Theatre?’  looking at the power of the stage, and the history of this great art form.
